Who We Are

We are the largest independent supplier of elevator equipment in America.

Founded in 1899 by Edward Everett Hollister and joined by Frank K. Whitney in 1906, Hollister-Whitney started as a family business. Today, we are a major supplier of elevator equipment worldwide.

Our headquarters, research, engineering and manufacturing facilities are located near the banks of the Mississippi River in Quincy, Illinois. With a great location at the geographic center of North America we can optimize sourcing of raw materials and shipping products.

Our 360,000 square feet of manufacturing space and more than 300 skilled machinists, welders and assemblers provide a perfect platform for meeting market demands for customized applications.
